Thies is a partner at MARTIUS.
Prior to this, he worked several years as a lawyer in a leading German law firm. He studied law at the universities of Bayreuth (2012) and Auckland (LL.M., 2013). He completed his legal clerkship at the Higher Regional Court of Hamburg.
In 2022 and 2023, Thies expanded his professional expertise as an M&A advisor in the areas of expansion, restructuring and corporate finance as well as software solutions for corporate transactions.
